Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required
- Approved Alignment & Adjustment Unit from software version 1.10.000
- The Matrix LED headlamp is calibrated using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
- For this procedure, the low beam is adjusted first on the left headlamp and then the matrix high beam is calibrated immediately after that. Then the low beam is calibrated on the right headlamp, followed by the matrix high beam.
The Headlamp Must Be Adjusted/Calibrated after the Following Procedures:
- Headlamp position was changed (removing and installing, loosening and tightening the screws)
- The Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera -R242- was replaced.
- The Drivetrain Control Module -J775- was calibrated or replaced.
- The Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- was replaced.
- The Left Rear Level Control System Sensor -G76-, Right Rear Level Control System Sensor -G77-, Left Front Level Control System Sensor -G78- or Right Front Level Control System Sensor -G289- was replaced.
- There is an entry in the DTC memory that indicates the matrix headlamp basic setting/calibration is missing.
