Luggage Compartment Cover Motor, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:
-- Clip both catches -2- for the roll cover into the guide rails and secure with an expander pin -1-.
-- Perform a function test after installing.
- Both of the roll cover catches must be parallel to each other at the top and bottom of the stop in the D-pillar trim panel guide.
-- If the catches are not parallel, check the routing of the release cable and/or adjust the release cables.
Roll Cover Release Cables, Adjusting:
Courtesy of AUDI OF AMERICA, LLC-- Adjust the release cable at the release cable adjuster -1-.
-- Turn the release cable adjuster in the direction of -arrows A or B-.
-- Adjust the release cable so that both of the roll cover catches are parallel to each other.
