Overview - Mobile Online Services, Excluding RUSSIA, IW3/IW5, From My 2019 With Connect Plus (IV1 Through IV8)

The mobile online services are based on the eCall and bCall and the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949-.

The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- is safeguarded against a crash by being installed in the luggage compartment. The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- contains an emergency call module and a compass module. A separate SIM card is installed for the emergency call function.

Troubleshooting

The mobile online services system is capable of OBD.

Fault Finding is performed using the "Guided Fault Finding"  on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

When there are concerns about the function, it necessary to be familiar with the Mobile Online Services functions.
