Rear Lid, Removing And Installing, A4 Sedan And A5 Coupe: Removing

-- Remove the rear lid lower trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- A4 equipment version with fixed backrest: remove the cable bracket -2- for the cable from the rear lid latch mount.

-- Disengage the cable -4- from the release lever -3-.

-- Free up the emergency release cable -1- from the rear lid -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the connector and free up the wiring harness -2-.
