Rear Lid, Removing And Installing, A5 Cabriolet: Removing

-- Remove the rear lid trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connectors -3 to 7-.

-- Free up the wiring harness -2- on the hood.

-- Remove the grommet -1- through the body opening on the rear lid and remove the wiring harness.

-- Pry out the covers -arrows-.

-- Loosen the nut -2-. 

-- Remove the nut -4-.

-- With a second technician, remove the rear lid -1- from the hinge -3- and lay it on a soft surface.
