Lock Cylinder, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear lid lower trim panel and the latch cover. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 3- and remove the expanding clip -4-.

-- Remove the anti-theft protection -2- for the lock cylinder.

-- Release the safety lever -8- in direction of -arrow A- and remove the cable bracket -5- from the mount in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Disengage the cable -6- at the release lever -7-.

-- Turn the lock cylinder -1- clockwise in direction of -arrow A- and remove it from the grip piece -2- in direction of -arrow B-.
