-- Remove the rear panel trim panel at the front and rear. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - VEHICLE INTERIOR TRIM PANELS .
-- Free up the wiring harness -2-.
-- Disconnect the connector -3-.
-- Remove the screws -arrows-.
-- Pry out and remove the convertible top compartment cover lock unit -1- on the right side starting at the top and remove.
