Rear Muffler Heat Shield, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Loosen the rear muffler mounting and lower it slightly using the Engine and Gearbox Jack: VAS6931  . Refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER .

-- Remove the nuts -arrows-.

TIP:

g-tron: the retaining pieces from the left heat shield are different then the above illustration.

• Left heat shield: 4 nuts
• Right heat shield: 3 nuts
