Air Duct to the Footwell Vent under the Right Seat (Front Passenger Seat)
Removing and installing:

-- Remove the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the carpet on the front passenger side. Refer to CARPET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Footwell Vent under the Right Seat (Front Passenger Seat)
Removing and installing:

-- Carefully lift up the carpet on the front passenger side. Refer to CARPET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Rear Center Console Vent
- There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Removing and installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - CENTER CONSOLE .
Rear Air Duct
- From the air duct (from the front heater and A/C unit) to the vents in the rear center console
- To remove, remove the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Rear Upper Body Vent Temperature Sensor -G537-
- Equipped on some models, only installed on a vehicle with a "High" A/C system
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Rear Upper Body Vent Temperature Sensor -G537-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, Q5 .
- The illustration shows the installation position on A5 and A5 on the Q5 the Rear Upper Body Vent Temperature Sensor -G537- is installed on the left side.
Air Duct Under the Rear Center Console
- There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Removing and installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - CENTER CONSOLE .
- Depending on the transmission version (different selector mechanism frame or parking lock emergency release cable frame), the selector mechanism frame must be removed to remove the air duct. Refer to the appropriate service information. .
Closure Cap
- Only present, when in the footwell vent under the left seat and the opening for a temperature sensor is present and no Left Rear Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G637- is installed, to seal this opening.
Left Rear Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G637-
- Equipped on some models, only installed on a vehicle with a "High" A/C system
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Left Rear Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G637-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Footwell Vent Under the Left Seat (Driver Seat)
- Different versions (here with an opening for a temperature sensor). Refer to the Parts Information.
  Removing and installing:
  
  -- Carefully lift up the carpet on the driver side. Refer to CARPET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  
  -- Remove the connector from the Left Rear Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G637-.
Air Duct to the Footwell Vent under the Left Seat (Driver Seat)
Removing and installing:

-- Remove the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the carpet on the driver side. Refer to CARPET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Air Routing
- From the heater and A/C unit to the air ducts under the center console and to the rear footwell vents
  Removing and installing:
  
  -- Remove the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  
  -- Remove the air duct under the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  
  -- Carefully loosen the carpet on the driver side and front passenger side. Refer to CARPET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  
  -- Remove the air ducts to the rear footwell vents from the air duct.
Front Heater and A/C Unit with Air Intake Housing
- Different versions. Refer to OVERVIEW - HEATER AND A/C UNIT and the Parts Information.
- Version for "High" A/C system
- Refer to HEATER AND A/C UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
