Humidity Sensor -G355-, Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397-, And Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107-, Removing And Installing
- Depending on the vehicle model, the Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107- may not be in the defroster vent in 2016 or 2017 and was then installed in the mirror base. For vehicles which were produced in the transition period, a Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107- (no function) is installed instead in the defroster vent; it is however not wired. Refer to Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- On the Audi Q5, the Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107- is installed in the mirror base.
- On the Audi Q5, the Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107- with the Humidity Sensor -G355- and the Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- are combined in one component (depending on the equipment versions). Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram.
- The Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107- and the Humidity Sensor -G355- (on automatic A/C system) as well as the Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- are installed in the mirror base, depending on the equipment versions. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram.
- The Humidity Sensor -G355- and the Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107- are integrated in the Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- and cannot be replaced separately if faulty. Refer to the Parts Information.
- The removal of the Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- (with the Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107- and the Humidity Sensor -G355-) is described in different assembly groups depending on the vehicle.
-- Replace the Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- (with Humidity Sensor -G355- and Sunlight Photo Sensor -G107-). Refer to OVERVIEW - WINDSHIELD or Windshield Washer System .
