Convertible Top Latch, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the mount with the convertible top locking motor. Refer to MOUNT WITH Convertible Top Locking Motor -V223-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Mark the installation position of the convertible top latch -5- for reinstallation.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- and free up the wiring harness.

-- Using a small screwdriver, lift the locking spring -2- slightly and remove the ball socket -3- from the ball pin.

-- Remove the nuts -4 and 6- and the convertible top latch -5-.
