TENSIONING Bracket Hydraulic Cylinder, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Bring the convertible top into its service position. Refer to Position : .
-- Using a small screwdriver, lift the locking springs -1 and 2- slightly and remove the hydraulic cylinder -3- from the ball pin.
-- Cut the cable tie -arrows- and remove the hydraulic cylinder.
If the hydraulic cylinder is being replaced:
- Hydraulic Line, Removing. Refer to HYDRAULIC LINE ON CYLINDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Left hydraulic cylinder: free up the wiring harness and remove the Upper Tensioning Bow Switch -F408- / Left Tensioning Bow Switch -F409-. Refer to Convertible Top Compartment -Open- Switch -F407-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Right hydraulic cylinder: free up the wiring harness and remove the Right Tensioning Bow Lowered Position Switch -F420- / Intermediate Position Bracket Switch -F518-. Refer to Convertible Top Compartment -Open- Switch -F407-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
