Hydraulic Line On Cylinder, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the hydraulic cylinder: refer to HYDRAULIC CYLINDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .
-- Open and close the fluid filler plug -arrow- one time to reduce the pressure.
-- Convertible top compartment cover hydraulic cylinder: release the catches -2- and remove the cover -3- from the hydraulic cylinder -1-.
-- If equipped cut through the cable tie -4-.
-- Pry up the clamp -2- from the hydraulic line with a pipe wrench or a punch -arrow A-.
TIP:
If it is more difficult to access through the Convertible Top Compartment -Open- Switch -F407- then the Convertible Top Compartment -Open- Switch -F407- must be removed. Refer to Convertible Top Compartment -Open- Switch -F407-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the hydraulic line -3- from the hydraulic cylinder -1- -arrow B-.
If a hydraulic line is being replaced:
- Remove the hydraulic line from the valve block. Refer to HYDRAULIC LINE ON VALVE BLOCK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
