Convertible Top Stowed Position Switch -F171- /Convertible Top Front Closed Position Switch -F202-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the hydraulic cylinder for the convertible top drive. Refer to CONVERTIBLE TOP DRIVE HYDRAULIC CYLINDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Free up the wiring harness -1- and free up the contact connector with the unlocking tool from the :VAS1978B  on the connector housing.

-- Turn the hydraulic line -5- to the side.

-- Release the catches -1 and 7- and remove the cover -2 and 6-.

-- Mark the installation position of the switch -4- for reinstallation.

-- Remove the switch -4- from the hydraulic cylinder -3-.
