Seat Heating Element, Removing And Installing, Seat Bolsters
NOTE:
The old seat heating element remains on the cushion and will be covered by the new heating element.
CAUTION:
This procedure may contain mandatory replaceable parts. Refer to component overview and parts information prior to starting procedure.
Procedure
- The seat bolster cushion is removed from the seat pan. Refer to SEAT PAN SEAT BOLSTER CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SUPER SPORT SEAT .
-- Cut the wire directly on the old heating element.
-- Align the new heating element -arrow- on the cushion.
-- Peel the protective film off the heating element. Be careful not to damage the heating element.
-- Glue the heating element so that it aligns with the old heating element and is not wrinkled.
Further installation is the reverse order of removal.
