Crankshaft, Removing And Installing: Removing

- The engine is removed and secured to the engine/transmission holder. Refer to ENGINE, SECURING TO ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION HOLDER .
-- Remove the oil pan upper section. Refer to OIL PAN UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the balance shaft drive chain. Refer to BALANCE SHAFT DRIVE CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the left engine support. Refer to LEFT ENGINE SUPPORT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Mark the installation position and which connecting rod bearing cap -1- belongs to which connecting rod -item ) Connecting Rod Bearing Cap.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the connecting rod bearing cap.
- Do not damage the cracked surfaces of the connecting rods and connecting rod bearing caps.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and -1 through 10-.
-- Remove the bearing cap using the : T10055 .
