Particulate Filter, Removing And Installing, AUDI A4/A5/Q5: Removing

-- Remove the front muffler. Refer to FRONT MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLE WITH PARTICULATE FILTER .

-- Remove the plenum chamber bulkhead. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER BULKHEAD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- from the particulate filter bracket.

-- Remove the Dual Exhaust Temperature Sensor 1 -GX41- connector -1- from the bracket, disconnect it and free up the wire.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and push the Particulate Filter Differential Pressure Sensor -G1037- to the side.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and the bolt -2-.

-- Free up the wires, push the heat shield -1- slightly upward (example illustration).

-- Free up the wiring harness.

-- Remove the particulate filter.
