High-Voltage System, Re-Energizing

Procedure
Re-energizing the high-voltage system is done exclusively via the Diagnosis mode using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
There is a risk of fatal injury due to high voltage.
Electrocution by direct contact or electric arc can cause severe bodily injury or fatal injury.
- Have an Audi high-voltage technician or an Audi high-voltage expert bring the high-voltage system back into service.
-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
-- Select the ODIS service mode and start.
-- Select the special functions tab.
-- Select one after the other:
- High Voltage
- 51 - Re-energizing high-voltage system
-- The prompt to connect the High-Voltage System Maintenance Connector -TW- will appear over the course of the program.
High-Voltage System Maintenance Connector -TW-, Connecting:
-- Remove the Service Disconnect Lock: T40262/1 from the High-Voltage System Maintenance Connector -TW- -1-.
-- Release the retainer -3- using a narrow screwdriver in direction of -arrow A-.
-- Push the release -2- downward in direction of -arrow B- and push in the High-Voltage System Maintenance Connector -TW- -1- until it engages in direction of -arrow C-.
