- Coat the contact surface with engine oil
- Roller Rocker Lever

- Mark the installed position for reinstallation.
- Check the roller bearing for ease of movement
- Coat the contact surfaces with engine oil
- Allocation. Refer to Fig 4.

- Removing and Installing. Refer to CAMSHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Check the radial clearance using Plastigauge® (roller rocker lever removed)
- Axial play: new 0.1 +0.102-0.05 mm
- Radial clearance: 0.024 to 0.066 mm
- Maximum run out: 0.04 mm
- After removing and installing or replacing an adaptation must be performed. Refer to PERFORM ADAPTATIONS AFTER COMPONENT REPLACEMENT .

- Installing. Refer to SLIDING BAR BALL, INSTALLING .
- Cylinder Head Cover
- With integrated camshaft bearings
- Removing and Installing. Refer to CAMSHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Only clean the sealing surface, reworking is not permitted.
- Remove old sealant residue.
- Pay attention to the cylinder head cover pairing number and cylinder head. Refer to Figure.

- Tightening Specifications and Sequence. Refer to Fig 2.
- Replace after removing

Cylinder Head Cover - Tightening Specifications and Sequence
- Replace bolts that were tightened with an additional turn after removing them.
- Pay attention that the cylinder head cover is not tilted.
-- Tighten the bolts -1 to 6- in steps in the sequence shown:

Valve Spring, Installation Position and Allocation
- The tight spring coils -arrow- face toward cylinder head.
- Length of the valve spring, intake side, approximately 45.5 mm.
- Length of the valve spring, exhaust side, approximately 51.0 mm.
Roller Rocker Lever, Allocation
- Roller rocker lever, intake side, dimension -b- = 8.0 mm
- Roller rocker lever, exhaust side, dimension -a- = 5.4 mm
Valve Stem Seal Allocation
A - Valve Stem Seal with a Sealing Lip -A-, Colored Green
- For the intake side
B - Valve Stem Seal with Two Sealing Lips -B-, Colored Red
