Fuel Rail, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
- Replace the support rings, O-rings and spacer rings for the fuel injectors after dismounting.
- Replace bolts that were tightened with an additional turn after removing them.
- If a fuel injector has been removed from its seating in the cylinder head, replace the combustion chamber seal.
-- Move the fuel rail -1- in installation position and install the bolts -2-.
-- Counterhold the fuel rail with a extractor lever in direction of -arrow- and tighten the bolts.
- The distance -a- must be equal at all fuel injectors.
-- Install the high pressure pipe. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the intake manifold. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
