1. Roller Tappet
   • Remains inserted in the vacuum pump after removing the high pressure pump
2. O-Ring
   • Replace after removing
   • Coat with engine oil
3. High Pressure Pump
   • Depending on the manufacture of the high pressure pump with:
     • Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-

     or

     • Fuel Metering Valve -N290-
   • Integrated in the high pressure pump, cannot be replaced separately
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Do not bend when installing.
4. Bolt
   • Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Fig 2.
5. Fuel Supply Hose
   • From the fuel tank
6. Connection
   • 60 Nm
   • Replace every time it is loosened
   • To loosen the union nut on the high pressure pipe counterhold with a open end wrench on the hex fitting of the connection
   • Replace if leaking
   • For the high pressure pipe.

9. High Pressure Pipe
   • To loosen the union nut counterhold with a open end wrench on the hex fitting of the connection
   • Do not change the bending shape.
   • Do not install when under stress
   • Coat the fuel supply line ball and the thread on the union nut with clean engine oil.
   • Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Fig 3.
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Mount the high pressure pump as follows to prevent the flange from becoming deformed:

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- in steps as follows:

Mount the high pressure pipe as follows that it does not deform when installing:

-- Tighten the union nuts in stages as follows:
