Catalytic Converter, Removing And Installing, Vehicle Without Particulate Filter: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Replace seals and self-locking nuts after disassembly.
Secure all hose connections with hose clamps that match the ones used in series production. Refer to the Parts Information.

-- If removed, install the Cam Adjustment Actuator 6 -F371-, Cam Adjustment Actuator 7 -F372-, Cam Adjustment Actuator 8 -F373-. Refer to CAM ADJUSTMENT ACTUATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If removed, install the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If removed, install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If removed, remove the front muffler. Refer to FRONT MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLE WITHOUT PARTICULATE FILTER .

-- Check the coolant level. Refer to COOLANT LEVEL, CHECKING AND FILLING .
