Exhaust Temperature Regulation Components, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Protect the exhaust gas temperature sensor against knocks and impacts. A dropped exhaust gas temperature sensor may not be used again.

-- Make sure there is enough clearance during installation.

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If removed, install the plenum chamber bulkhead. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER BULKHEAD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If removed, install the tower brace. Refer to TOWER BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
