New Glass Trim, Preparing For Installation: Notes

Procedure 

-- Clean the adhesive surface with Cleaning Solution :D 009 401 04  and let dry.

• The vehicle and the glass trims must be at room temperature.
• The adhesive surfaces must be free of dirt and grease.
• The surface must be primed before applying adhesive.
• The glass trim must be inserted within 15 minutes of applying the sealant.

Primer, Applying:

-- Use the applicator -3- to apply the Glass/Paint Primer :D 009 200 02  -1- evenly in a single stroke on the glass trim -2- and let dry for ten minutes.

• Pay attention to the different distances to the glass trim. Refer to Adhesive Application: .
• Begin applying with a saturated piece of felt.
• Primer width 20 mm.
• The glass/paint primer must be centered to the adhesive bead.
• Drying time: 10 minutes
