-- Remove the glass panel. Refer to GLASS PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A5 .

-- Remove the sliding sunroof motor. Refer to Sunroof Motor -V1-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A5 .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Push the glass panel carrier -4- toward the rear in the position shown.

-- Remove the mount -5- from the sunroof frame -arrow- until the retaining tab -6- is free.

-- Pivot the tilting mechanism upward until the mount -3- on the sunroof frame and the pivot arm -2- on the carrier -1- are free.

-- Remove the pivot arm -2- from the guide -1- on the sunroof frame and pivot upward.

-- Pull the carrier -2- for the glass panel toward the rear until the guide -3- is free.

-- Pivot out the pivot arm -1- for the slide mechanism upward from the carrier -4- for the slide mechanism -arrow-.

-- Guide out the driver for the glass panel from the guide on the sunroof frame.

-- Loosen the drain tube and cable. Refer to the appropriate service information .
