If a mobile phone which has been tested for compatibility (see www.audi.com/bluetooth for list of phones that have been tested), or the fixed handset cannot be connected to the vehicle via Bluetooth, the adaption channel for Bluetooth must be checked. On vehicles with MIB, it must also be checked if the existing activations have been restored:
Vehicles with hands-free (CAN):
Check adaption channel 133 of telephone control unit (diagnostic address 77). Adaption channel 133 must have the value "1" .
Adaption channel 133:
Value 0 = Bluetooth OFF
Value 1 = Bluetooth ON
In addition, adaption channel 134 must be checked and set to the desired value (factory setting: value 0).
Adaption channel 134:
Value 0 = Bluetooth is always active
Value 1 = Bluetooth is only active when the mobile phone is in the charging cradle
Vehicles with hands-free (MOST) or rSAP Bluetooth with MMI2G:

Adaption channel 133:
Value 0 = Bluetooth OFF
Value 1 = Bluetooth ON

Adaption channel 134:
Value 0 = Bluetooth is always active
Value 1 = Bluetooth is only active when the mobile phone is in the charging cradle
Vehicles with MMI3G or MMI3G+:

Adaption channel 17:
Value 0 = Bluetooth OFF
Value 1 = Bluetooth ON
Vehicles with RMC:
