The display of the Audi virtual cockpit has semi-circular marks on the edges of the display glass.

Discrepancy in manufacturing process for display.
PRODUCTION SOLUTION
Optimized manufacturing process for the instrument cluster display screen implemented 09/01/2024 (production date of the instrument cluster).
SERVICE
Figures 1 and 2 are examples of the circular marks that may be present on the screen of the instrument cluster.
- In your warranty claim notes document the production date of the instrument cluster. To do so:
- Using Self Diagnosis: Select diagnostic address 17.
- Use the control module OBD drop down and select Identification.
- Click "show expanded identification".
- Expand the "Fazit identification" and document "Day of manufacture".
- If the production date of the cluster is BEFORE 09/01/2024, this TSB applies.
- Replace the Audi Virtual Cockpit -J285- according to the instructions of the ELSA repair manual.
- Upload a photo of the customer concern to DOC-IT, ensure the photo includes the VIN and date.
