TECHNICAL BACKGROUND 1
Pixel error in the virtual cockpit.
PRODUCTION SOLUTION
Optimized hardware in Audi virtual cockpit implemented on 10/01/2024 (production date of instrument cluster).
SERVICE
- In your warranty claim notes document the production date of the instrument cluster. To do so:
- Using Self Diagnosis: Select diagnostic address 17.
- Use the control module OBD drop down and select Identification.
- Click "show expanded identification".
- Expand the "Fazit identification" and document "Day of manufacture".
- If the date of manufacture is BEFORE 10/01/2024 this TSB applies and the Audi Virtual Cockpit -J285- must be replaced.
- Attach a photo of the concern to DOC-IT.
