SERVICE
Observe the following points when taking fluid samples:
- Take care to ensure that the fluid sample is not mixed with other samples or other fluids.
- Use only clean and unused tools to extract the fluid sample.
- If all the fluid is drained, it must be collected in a clean container. Shortly before extracting the sample from the container, the fluid must be stirred to swirl up any foreign objects.
- The sample must be labelled completely with the following data: vehicle identification number, engine code, capacity in liters, horsepower, vehicle mileage, mileage over which fluid has been used (if different from vehicle mileage), date on which sample was taken, gearbox type.
- Further relevant information about the vehicle history (topping up, replacement of components) must also be noted on the sample.
Please ensure you use the required container for the fluid collection, as specified below:
