Repair Criteria 1: Q5, SQ5, A8 or S8:

If the concern matches the conditions above, then replace the control module for the differential lock control module, J187 (address word 0032) according to the Elsa Repair Manual.

Repair Criteria 2: All vehicles except Q5, SQ5, A8 or S8:

Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions .
Update the differential lock control module (Quattro sport), J187 (address word 0032) using the SVM action code as listed in the table below, if necessary:
