BELT PULLEY (WITHOUT A/C Clutch -N25-), REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A/C COMPRESSOR "Denso" MANUFACTURER VERSION "1": Removing
-- Perform the preparatory work. Refer to PRELIMINARY WORK FOR REPLACING BELT PULLEY .
-- Remove the cap -A-.
-- Hold the compressor shaft -B- with a commercially available hex socket (7 mm) and turn the drive plate -C- together with the belt pulley -E- in the direction of the -arrow-.
TIP
- The torque to drive the A/C compressor is transferred to the drive plate -C- via the threaded connection.
- If, when operating the A/C compressor, the drive plate -C- was attached to the A/C compressor shaft so tightly that it can no longer be loosened (the 7 mm hex fitting -B- cannot transfer the necessary torque), the A/C compressor must be replaced.
-- Remove drive plate -C-.
-- Remove the circlip -A-.
-- Remove the belt pulley -B-.
