Intake Manifold, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Replace the seals, connections for high pressure pipe and spring clamps for the fuel hose after removal.
• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps that match the ones used in series production. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).

-- Push the intake manifold over the threaded pins on the cylinder head.

-- Check the fuel system for leaks.

-- Connections and wire routing. Refer to Wiring Diagram.

-- Install the Camshaft Position Sensor -G40-. Refer to CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
