MISFUELING Guard, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- Insert the misfueling guard into the fuel filler neck.

• The tab on the misfueling guard must engage into the groove on the fuel filler neck -arrows-.

-- Turn the locking ring 25° clockwise and install it using the locking ring pliers.

-- If installed correctly, the markings on the locking ring and on the fuel filler neck will align -arrows-.

Function Test:

• The locking latch for the misfueling guard cannot open without the :T40256  .
• The must be inserted all the way in the fuel filler neck.
