-- Reduce the pressure by covering the coolant expansion tank cap with a cloth and carefully opening it.

Body parts can be pinched or pulled in if the radiator fan starts running by itself.
-- When working near the radiator, maintain a distance from the fan.
-- Do not reach into the radiator fan when disconnecting the connector.
-- Disconnect the connectors.
