Perform Adaptations After Component Replacement

Adapting the Adaptation Values after Replacing Components
An adaptation of the adaptation values is required after the following procedures:
- The engine was replaced.
- The sensor wheel for the Engine Speed Sensor -G28- was replaced.
- The components of the chain drive were removed and installed or replaced.
- The cylinder head was removed and installed or replaced.
- The camshafts were removed and installed or replaced.
- The Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493- has been replaced
- The Radiator Shutter Motor -V544- was replaced.
- The Throttle Valve Control Module -GX3- were replaced.
- The particulate filter was replaced.
-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
-- Switch on the ignition and select Guided Functions use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
-- Select Diagnostic operating mode and Start diagnostics .
-- Select the Select individual test tab and select the following tree structure consecutively:

- 0001 - Engine electronics, functions
After replacing the engine/motor control module:
- 0001 - Replacing the Engine/Motor Control Module
After replacing the charge air pressure actuator:
- 0001 - Charge Air Pressure Actuator -V465 adjusting
-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the display.

After replacing the engine/motor control module:

-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the display.
