Coolant Pump, Removing And Installing, Vehicle Without High-Voltage System: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Position the toothed belt and bring the coolant pump -1- into installation position.

-- Pay attention that the centering piece -arrows- and seal -3- are seated correctly.

-- Tighten the coolant pump bolts. Refer to Figure.

-- After installing a new coolant pump -2-, remove the protective cap -1- from the drive wheel.

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps that match the ones used in series production. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
• Used coolant cannot be used again.

Refer to the appropriate service information.

-- Connect the coolant hose to the connector coupling. Refer to Figure.

-- Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLANT, FILLING USING Cooling System Charge Kit: VAS6096 [DMTA, DPAA, DPUA, DPVA, DMTC, DRYA, DUVA] .

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
