Generator -C-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH 3.0L TFSI ENGINE, 0K0: Removing

-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery when the ignition is switched off. Refer to Battery -A-, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, 0K0 .

-- Release the tension on the ribbed belt and remove it from the generator pulley. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the generator -1- from the bracket.

-- Remove the nut -2- and remove the B+ wire -3-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Push the coolant hose slightly to the side and remove the generator to the right.
