Generator -C-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH 2.0L TDI ENGINE, 0K0: Removing

-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery when the ignition is switched off. Refer to Battery -A-, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, 0K0 .

-- Remove the ribbed belt tensioner. Refer to the appropriate service information .

-- Remove the A/C compressor from the bracket and tie up to the side. Refer to the appropriate service information .

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the nut -2- and remove the B+ wire -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the generator -4- downward.
