Auxiliary Battery -A1-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, (VH0 + 0K4): Removing
-- Visually inspect and classify the Auxiliary Battery -A1-. Refer to Auxiliary Battery -A1-, VISUAL INSPECTION AND CLASSIFICATION .
-- Remove the Battery -A-. Refer to Battery -A-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 0K4 AND VH0 .
-- Remove the pressure vent tube -1- from the grommet -2-.
-- Release the retainer in direction of -arrow-.
-- Remove the cap -4- over the "+" - terminal.
-- Remove the nuts -1 and 3- and remove the battery terminal clamps from the battery terminals.
-- Disconnect the connector -2-.
-- Remove the nut -7- and free up the ground wire -6- on the threaded pin.
-- Remove the bolt -8-.
-- Push the Auxiliary Battery -A1- -5- with the pressure vent tube and ground wire upward out of the luggage compartment.
If the Auxiliary Battery -A1- is replaced:
- Remove the protective housing. Refer to PROTECTIVE HOUSING FOR Auxiliary Battery -A1-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 0K4 AND VH0 .
