Starter, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With 6-Cylinder TFSI Engine: Removing

-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery when the ignition is switched off. Refer to Battery -A-, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, 0K0 .

-- Remove the front muffler. Refer to FRONT MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Equipment Versions with Coolant Recirculation Pump -V50- :

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER .

-- Open the retainer -arrow- and push the Coolant Recirculation Pump -V50- to the side.

Continuation for All:

-- Remove the generator. Refer to Generator -C-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH 3.0L TFSI ENGINE, 0K0 .

-- Remove the right engine support. Refer to ENGINE SUPPORT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.
