Differential, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Install the differential -1-.

-- While doing so, do not lift the differential at the angular contact ball bearing cage -2-, but rather grab inside the hole -arrow- for the right flange shaft.

-- Replace the O-ring -A- on the final drive cover and coat it with transmission fluid.

-- Insert the final drive cover -1- and tighten the bolts -arrows-.

-- Install the right flange shaft. Refer to RIGHT FLANGE SHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If removed install the left flange shaft. Refer to LEFT FLANGE SHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill the transmission fluid after installing the transmission and check the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid .
