Brake Pad Wear Sensor, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Insert the contact -3- for the brake pad wear indicator sensor into the brake pad until it engages.

NOTE:

Make sure that the brake pad wear indicator sensor contact sits correctly in the brake pad.

-- Secure the wire for the brake pad wear indicator sensor with the dust cap -2- as shown.

-- Install the brake caliper. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Clean bolts before reusing.

Replace the damaged bolts. Refer to the Parts Information.

-- Tighten the brake caliper with bolts -1-.

-- Bring the connector into the installation position and turn in the direction of -arrow- until the tab -1- engages in the opening -2- on the bracket.

-- Connect the connector -3-.

-- Install the front wheel. Refer to Wheels and Tires .

WARNING:

Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
