Brake Caliper, Removing And Installing, Steel Brakes 1LA/1LB: Notes

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Digital Torque Wrench :VAG1756A  or Torque Wrench, 60-320 Nm :VAS5509 

Always replace the self-locking nuts and bolts.

Replace damaged bolts and nuts.

Clean the bolts and nuts before reusing.

In the following description, the brake caliper is removed with the brake carrier. The brake hose remains connected.
