Brake Caliper, Replacing, Ceramic Brakes: Notes

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Torque Wrench 1331 5-50Nm :VAG1331  or Torque Wrench 20-120 Nm :VAS5507 
• Digital Torque Wrench :VAG1756A  or Torque Wrench, 60-320 Nm :VAS5509 
• Brake Pedal Actuator :VAG1869/2  .
• Bleeder bottle from the Brake Charger/Bleeder Unit :VAS5234 
• Engine Bung Set :VAS6122 
• Safety Gloves

Always replace the self-locking nuts and bolts.

Replace damaged bolts and nuts.

Clean the bolts and nuts before reusing.

The brake caliper is removed and disconnected from the hydraulic system in the following description. The brake hose is removed.
