Brake Pad Wear Indicator Wire, Removing And Installing: Installing

TIP:

If the clips go missing, the brake pad wear indicator wire must be replaced.

-- Insert the brake pad wear indicator contact with the retainer until it engages in the brake pad.

-- Secure the brake pad wear indicator wire back into the same position.

-- Bring the brake pad wear sensor into its installation position on the bracket and turn it in the direction of the -arrow- until the tab -2- engages in the hole -3- on the bracket.

-- Connect the connector -1-.

-- Install the brake caliper. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STEEL BRAKES 1LC/1LD/1LE/1LF/1LG/1LH .
