Mounting Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the door window into the "closed" position.

-- Remove the door handle. Refer to DOOR HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the housing. Refer to HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the door inner cover. Refer to DOOR INNER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- A4: remove the bolt -1-.

-- Loosen the guide rail -4- to do so remove the guide rail with window guide -3- forward out of the catch -2- in direction of -arrow-.

-- Loosen the door lock and disengage the operating cable. Refer to DOOR LOCK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the backing plates -1 and 2-.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.

-- Lift the mounting brackets -1- until the retainers -2 and 3- are free -arrows-.

-- Free up the wiring harness.

-- Remove the mounting bracket toward the inside.

-- Remove the mounting bracket from the door.
