Inner Door Seal, Removing And Installing, A5 SPORTBACK: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

Install the inner door seal -A- on the body flange in the sequence -1 to 7-.

-- Align the inner door seal on the upper B-pillar on the bracket -B- for the B-pillar trim and press on.

• The marks must align.

-- Attach the inner door seal in the area of the A-pillar and B-pillar a hand wide.

-- Press the retainer knobs on the A-pillar.

-- Attach the inner door seal to the center.

-- Apply the inner door seal on the inner door seal bracket and guide the tab -C- over the pop rivet nut.

-- Attach the inner door seal to the center.

-- Attach the inner door seal on the side sill.

-- Install the inner door seal over the entire length.
