Backrest Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Super Sport Seat: Removing

Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". For example, this can be done by briefly touching the door striker.

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fasten the front seat on the :VAS6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove the seat side trim on the side sill side. Refer to SEAT SIDE TRIM ON SIDE SILL SIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disengage the anti-squeak fleece on the backrest frame.

-- Remove the clips -arrows- on the backrest frame with the :80-200 .

-- Detach the lower molding -1- from the backrest frame.

-- Disengage the molding -2- on the bracket on the backrest frame.

-- Remove the clips -arrows- on the side bolster with the :80-200 .

-- Disengage the clamping strip -1- for the cover from the headrest.

-- Disengage the tab -1- from the cushion and cover on both sides from the hooks for the side bolster -2-.

-- Disengage the left and right cover hooks -3- on the backrest frame.

-- Equipped on some models: disconnect the backrest heating wiring harness from the seat pan and free it up.

-- Loosen the cover -1- with cushion -2- from the backrest frame and remove carefully under the backrest forward in direction of -arrows-.

-- Remove the cushion and cover from the backrest frame, depending on the version guide the wiring harness for the backrest heating.
