Headrest, Removing And Installing, Super Sport Seat: Removing

- Pay attention to the safety precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN WORKING WITH PYROTECHNIC COMPONENTS .
- Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". For example, this can be done by briefly touching the door striker.
-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Fasten the front seat on the : VAS6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .
-- Remove the backrest cover and side trim. Refer to BACKREST COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SUPER-SPORT SEAT .
-- Remove the clips -arrows- on the side bolster with the : 80-200 .
-- Disengage the clamping strip -1- for the cover from the headrest.
-- Push the cushion and headrest in the area of the headrest to the side.
-- Remove the bolts -2- and carefully remove the side bolster upward from each other.
-- Remove the headrest from the catch on both headrest guides alternating.
-- To do so push the release button -1- downward and at the same time push the headrest upward.
-- Push the spring -4- an the headrest guide in the direction of the -arrow- and at the same time remove the headrest out of the catch.
-- Remove the headrest -3- from the headrest guide.
