Driver Seat Bolster/Backrest Inflation Adjustment Valve Block -V378- / Front Passenger Seat Bolster/Backrest Inflation Adjustment Valve Block -V379-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the backrest cover. Refer to FRONT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- For reinstallation, mark pneumatic lines at the separating point with a waterproof permanent marker.

-- Disconnect the pneumatic lines -1, 2 and 3- to the lumbar support air cushion at the following locations. Refer to PNEUMATIC LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

• -a- = 100 mm
• -b- = 100 mm
• -c- = 100 mm

-- If installed, disconnect the pneumatic lines -1 and 2- for the backrest bolster adjuster air cushion at the following location. Refer to PNEUMATIC LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

• -a- = 200 mm
• -b- = 200 mm

-- Disconnect the pneumatic line -1- for the pump at the following location. Refer to PNEUMATIC LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

• -a- = 80 mm

-- Press the release button and disconnect the connector.

-- Remove the seat/backrest bolster adjuster valve block from the rubber mounting.

-- To do this, pull the rubber mounting along the length in direction of -arrow A- and remove the valve block at the same time in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Repeat the procedure on the remaining rubber mounts.
